Problem Tackled
Noise pollution affects the health and well-being of humans and other organisms.
Traffic is the main source of noise pollution in India and our cities are amongst the noisiest in the world.
Solution : CHUP
Chup is a soundless smart horn that prevents unnecessary nonking oy sending soundless alerts to cars & sound alerts only when the vehicle is in nien speed and an obstacle Is derecrea
Need assessment

Almost all cities in India violate noise pollution standards even in silence zones.
Among children and the elderly, the prevalence of hearing loss is the highest in South Asia.

Honking patterns
Drivers today honk for various reasons most of them are unnecessary causes of noise pollution.
Honking patterns depict the current scenarios of honking and the necessary scenarios for horn usage.

Brainstorming
Brainstorming led to generation of ideas which were mapped on a value-effort model to evaluate the feasibility of the ideas.
The best ideas were chosen to further ideate and develop.

Features
To prevent excessive honking, a soundless smart horn has been proposed. The following features were proposed for this system. The horn is able to send frequency signals to alert driver within range and automatically honks when an obstacle is detected

Case Scenarios
The working of the proposed horn can be explained through these case scenarios. The smart horn is completely soundless unless absolutely necessary.

Conceptual Model
The conceptual model is simple representation of the working of the soundless smart horn.
